The house, which sleeps eight, is in a very peaceful location on the border of the Lot and the Dordogne between Villefranche du Périgord and Cazals. The large 5-hectare terrain around the house offers plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sun, but also some nice shady spots. This is thanks to the large chestnut tree in front of the house and various fruit and nut trees. Garden furniture, barbecue, private swimming pool and private tennis court are available.

Information

The house is rented out from mid-April to the end of September. In the summer it is wonderfully cool inside due to the thick walls and there is always a spot in the shade outside. Send a message for availability.

Quiet rural environment

This charming French holiday home (180m2) is located in a fantastic, quiet, rural area where there is still plenty to do.

Cazals (6km) is a village with that typical French charm. Every Sunday there is a local market with fresh produce, straight from the land. There is a recreational lake with a beach, playground and pedal boat rental. Villefrance du Périgord (7km) is also a charming French village with all amenities. It is the oldest bastide in the Dordogne. Also visit Les Arques (6km) with the Zadkine museum and the excellent restaurant La Récréation.

In Puy-l’Evêque (24km) you can rent a canoe for a trip on the Lot. The Dordogne is 27km away. Here you will find the castles of Milandes (by Josephine Baker) and the rivals Castelnau and Beynac, as well as picturesque villages such as Domme (26km) and La Roque-Gageac (29km). There are various golfing opportunities, including at Belvès (28km).
